Joe Tomlinson

Director, Technical Support

Joe Tomlinson is currently the Director of Technical Support for Ingenico Group North America. In that role, he is responsible for delivering Technical Support services to North American customers by providing leadership to the support teams in Canada and the United States, and by working with customers and internal stakeholders both regionally and throughout Ingenico Group.

Mr. Tomlinson joined the company in the early 1990’s and has made significant contributions to the growth and success of Ingenico Canada (and its predecessors, IVI Checkmate & International Verifact) in various roles including Project Management, Network Services, Software Development Management and Technical Support Management.  In total, he has over 22 years of experience in the payment industry, along with over 12 years of experience in hardware engineering and project management roles earlier in his career with AES Data, Pinpoint Retail Systems & FP Electronics.  

Joe holds an Electronics Engineering Technician Diploma from Sir Sandford Fleming College and a Computer Programming and Systems Analysis Diploma from the Institute for Computer Studies, and he is PMP-accredited.
